Custom Pet Product Process: Sampling & Production

Creating a custom pet product starts with a conversation. Whether you have a reference style, finished artwork or an initial idea, WINWINPETS helps you work through material selection, sampling, production and packaging. Here is what to expect when planning a custom order with us.
For brands, retailers and wholesalers, understanding these steps makes it easier to prepare a clear brief and plan an order schedule. Confirming the details before production also helps keep the finished products aligned with your requirements.
1. Share Your Product Idea
You can send an inquiry through our website, email or WhatsApp. If you leave your contact details on our website, our team will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss your project.
Tell us which product you would like to develop and share any reference images, designs or ideas. Helpful information includes:
- Product style and intended use
- Preferred colors and sizes
- Logo artwork or branding requirements
- Estimated order quantity
- Packaging preferences
You do not need to have every detail finalized before contacting us. We can review your starting point and recommend suitable material options.
2. Review Materials, Specifications and Pricing
After reviewing your requirements, we recommend materials and prepare a quotation based on the proposed product specifications.
Before moving forward, we work with you to confirm the materials, artwork, dimensions and other relevant details. For example, a custom collar or harness project may require confirmation of logo placement, buckle selection and size requirements.
Custom orders generally start from 100 pcs, while custom pet apparel typically requires a minimum of 300 pcs, with mixed sizes available. We will confirm the applicable MOQ and customization options based on your selected product and requirements.
3. Make and Review the Sample
Sampling generally takes 10–15 working days once the sample requirements are confirmed.
The sample gives you an opportunity to review the materials, appearance, dimensions and construction before bulk production. You can check whether the product matches your expectations and share any changes you would like us to review.
If revisions are needed, we will discuss the changes and confirm any effect on the schedule. Bulk production proceeds after sample approval and confirmation of the final specifications.
4. Begin Bulk Production and Check the Details
After sample approval, bulk production generally takes around 20–35 working days, depending on the product style and order quantity. We will confirm the schedule for your order. Shipping transit time is additional.
Before shipment, we check relevant construction and assembly details. For sewn products such as collars, leashes and harnesses, these checks include stitching, component placement, buckles and other fittings.
The checks depend on the product type and the specifications agreed for the order.
5. Prepare Packaging for Your Sales Channel
Our usual packaging is an OPP or PE bag. If your collection needs branded presentation, we can also review custom packaging options, including:
- Custom labels
- Hang tags
- Branded bags
- Product boxes
Please share your packaging requirements early so they can be included in the quotation and production planning.
